Day Five - Cadell to Caudo's Winery

Wine Tasting By The River

The plan was to leave Cadell and travel to Hogwash Bend to moor. Ramblers would then optionally make their way back to Caudo's Winery for a tasting. There was a quick change of plan when Caudo's Winery graciously invited the Ramble to moor along their riverfront.

Ramblers were treated to the delights of tasting fine wines and local produce. A delightful afternoon was had by all and many Ramblers commented that Caudo's Winery would be a welcome addition to any Ramble in the future.

After a quiet afternoon of relaxing or walking around the winery, it was time for dinner and then the Fancy Dress Party. The theme of the party was "Super Heroes". The costumes ranged from the hired to the home made - some were even made on the way using items in the pantry. While most came as heroes, some non-conformists can as "Super Villains". A good time was had by all.
