RMBOA River Murray Cruise Calculator
This calculator is provided by the River Murray Boat Owners Association (RMBOA) as a service to all river users. If you are not a member of the RMBOA, please visit the RMBOA web site and consider joining the Association. Please Note: 45 minutes is added to the travel time at each lock, except if the lock is the starting or ending point of the journey. As it cannot be determined if a journey is starting (or ending) above or below a lock, it is assumed that journeys will start after a Lock and finish before a Lock. The calculator also assumes that the vessel will arrive at a Lock during operating hours. Any delays associated with opening bridges such as the Paringa bridge are not included as the delay depends on if you need the bridge opened and when you arrive and the scheduled opening times. Lake Alexandrina is classed as open water and appropriate safety equipment must be carried. Insurance for houseboats may have restrictions below Wellington.

The estimated remaining fuel turns orange when it is below 40% capacity and red when it is estimated that all fuel has been used. Factors like wind and current are not taken into these account.

Please Note: The riverside fuel locations shown will have restricted hours of operation and may require a minimum amount of fuel (for example 50 litres) to be purchased.
