RMBOA Mini-Ambles
Four times a year in
non-ramble years and two or three times in Ramble years, the RMBOA holds an informal
gathering of members and guests on the river. Unlike the Ramble, the
RMBOA does not provide facilities such as toilets, entertainment or
catered meals.
Because the RMBOA
does not provide support for these events (other than selecting the
mooring spot), mini-ambles do not attract a fee as does the Ramble. The
Mini-Ambles are an excellent opportunity for potential new members to
come along on an Association outing and get to know some of the
members.
Because RMBOA
members are spread along the length of the Murray River in South
Australia, the location of Mini-Ambles is varied in an attempt to make
sure that as many members as possible have an opportunity to
participate.
Next Mini-Amble: The next Mini-Amble will be held on the 6th & 7th December at Mannum foreshore near River Lane and the Houseboat Friendly mooring area. This Mini-Amble will be combined with the Christmas Party. If you are unsure where River Lane is, please look at this map.
